PSA: The Old 97's

aceofkittensIn the front row, at the Melt Show... I fell in love with you and that was three weeks hours ago...
Just came home after seeing my favorite band, the Old 97's, live. As always, they were amazing. It was equally amazing to be surrounded by so many fans, all of us knowing all the words, singing along with our favorites... cheering the new songs. Rhett is like a manic cricket, rollerskate skinny as he hops frenetically around the stage, spraying sweat and spittle all over the lucky denizens of the front row. He sang in French. In fucking French!
They're going to be in the Bay Area this weekend and I really really really recommend that SF peeps go see them live. They're at the Independent on Divis. More info here.
