Zzzzzz..

I spent the night tossing and turning. I kept having weird dreams, waking up briefly to think, "Hey, I should try to remember this one," then drifting off again to have more weird dreams. Naturally, I just remember the part of the dream about being in a boat and discussing the pros and cons of legalizing marijuana with someone. But there was a lot more. At least it wasn't one of my "alien invasion" dreams.

We went to a wedding yesterday, and that was cool. Good times were had by all. I had a space of time during it when the music was so loud, and the voices of the people were so loud, that I just started tuning it all out completely. That whole "island in a crowd" thing. But then I had some coffee (good coffee!) and things were better.

I had the unique experience of having a total stranger come up to me in the buffet line at the reception and compliment my attire! She said, "I noticed you at the wedding and I was just like, wow! What a great outfit! Right down to the shoes!" I felt all secretly elegant and spiffy. Because my bag matched too! So, apparently, I have it in me somewhere to be elegant. Ha ha ha! And then we all laughed.

I can't believe I am still sleepy. I got almost 8 hours of sleep last night, which is unheard of! Oh well.

Note to self: must try and make this LJ less dull.
