Another k1tt10 story

aceofkittensSo, this afternoon, I went and got some pussy with a bunch of guys... ;)
(Those of you who know me RL should know by now that no, I don't get tired of making the same stupid joke, again and again, and again and again!! :)
Damn, the SPCA has really come a long way. Those cats have better apartments than I do. And my mother doesn't trust me. She called at least 4 times to make sure I wasn't adopting another cat. I sure wish that I could have allowed myself that luxury, especially as there was a cat there named Charlie with whom I made an instant "love connection." But, as Father Ted would say, "They all have lovely bottoms," and it's just not possible. Though when I told my mom about Charlie, she was all, "Why didn't you take him? If you moved up here, you could just have him at my house 'til you got a place of your own." Mixed messages much?
I was in fine form today, and so was my mom. Today, I acted out the part of "the sullen, depressed teenager who doesn't do her chores and goes off with friends, abandoning her sick mother," while my mom acted out the part of "the angry (im)patient, using guilt as a lever to bring her prodigal daughter back to the fold before dinner." I'm not mad at her or anything; in fact, I knew I'd get in trouble for not doing the chores first. But I also can't help but be resentful right now and I'm sure I'm acting out.

No details forthcoming here about the new kitty til I find out her new official name, but I totally am ready to take some pics. She's a real beauty.
