I am so full. I ate at Souplantation. It's the Southern Californian version of Fresh Choice. So very full, so very happy.

For those who didn't see it in person, here's what my Halloween costume looked like:


Yeah, I was Medusa. The funniest thing was when someone else showed up in a Medusa costume. How mortifying (literally)! We had a snake-off.


All I want to do is take a nap. Perhaps I can do that later under my desk. I mean, what are they going to do, fire me?! HAHAHA.

hmm, and the party i went to the following night was hosed by pandora. and when we went trick-or-treating (chaperoning) on monday, we saw a pegasus loping down the street.

Wow, that's so cool! I've always wanted to have a folklore & mythology costume party. I should have done it when I was surrounded by folklorists. We could all have been been super pedantic and had an "erudite-off" (or perhaps Eurydice-off)! :)

Thank you. It took some hustling to get it to look good — the dress was still bouncing around in the dryer after its dye bath 10 minutes before party time. But yes, I won the snake-off... ;)

I actually had someone ask me, "Are you Medusa, or one of the other sisters, Sthenno and Euryale?" It made up for the 20 times I had to explain the costume to other people. :)

Really, you hadn't seen a photo? You should have said something! Of course, there are a lot in my past entries, so you just haven't stalked me well enough. :) Although, I am still having DNS issues with the server they were on, so all the pics may be pointing to the wrong address and coming up empty. I will have to Check That Out! :)
