Sansa in da house

Over the weekend, a new MP3 player was purchased for me by MIB. It is a SanDisk® Sansa with 1G capacity. It's so cute and I think I can make playlists and everything. Yay!

Of course, it's enough for me just to own it — I didn't open it nor program it. Just like my Mr. Bento lunchbox.

I was thinking maybe of naming it "Lady" or maybe "Petyr." Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha.

And I am sad about Mr. Bento too. :( I suck!

I just bought an external dvd-rw-cd combo thingie for my laptop, because the stock one that came IN the laptop blows monkeys. (yeah I did all the techie crap youre supposed to do).

anyway, yeah, i used it once so far - to update word to include the formula thingie for my stats class. but it's very shiny on its stand beside the laptop.

It took me more than a YEAR to start using my flash drive. :)

Now THAT one I used. But only because of work. My favourite thing was moving to Ohio 4 years ago, and taking the lash drive into Staples to print off some expense reports (our stuff hadn't made it here yet, just us and the animals in a big old empty house on sleeping bags) and having the people in staples fix me with a glassy stare.

They had no idea what it was for, where to plug it in, or how to print from it. Loved it.

Oh oh oh! I know what you might use. I just got a little flash drive that you can stick the memory thing from a camera in. and the memory thing. So now, when I take a phone pic, I cna take the chip out, plus it into the lash and put it on the computer.

there's probably an easier way, but I'm too cheap to email the pictures to myself from the phone.

Yes. Though I don't know if he uses it, he does have a login (dredd). Also, now that I think of it, his dredd @ masq.org email probably still forwards.
