Quite frequently, I have pretty weird/bad dreams. I have to write down last night's here.
I dreamed that I had somehow become involved with Count Dracula. Even though I knew fully well that he was a vampire, I thought I could use that knowledge to defeat him. We went to his giant castle in the heart of Romania and they put me up in a really nice room. At first, I was like: "Ha ha, I can't believe no one else knows he's a vampire!" Then, it turned out he had outsmarted me — my mom and Chip were both there at the castle, as collateral to make sure I behaved.
Chip was really freaked out and my mom couldn't understand why I was being so hostile and distant. Meanwhile, the Count was sending me subliminal messages into my head every night about how my mom doesn't love me and how I should help him kill everyone. I confessed to one of the staff that I thought I was hearing these messages and she suggested I wear a large crucifix, which prompted a lengthy internal questioning on my part: as a non-Christian, would wearing the crucifix work, even if I don't believe in the cross itself, but believe that believing that it would thwart the vampire might work...
Just then, I realized I couldn't do this alone and I contacted
vaznetti!!! :) I was meeting with her in these catacombs. I'm like: "Listen, I'm involved with this Romanian guy, but he is a vampire!!! He's planning to kill everyone during the second act of the opera "Julius Caesar," just as Brutus stabs Caesar. Help me! I can't do this alone!" I started crying and
vaznetti agreed to help me. As part of the plan, I would send her twelve pairs of fake rubber eyes in the mail. Trust me, it made sense in the dream.
Then I finally woke up. :) Thanks for your help,
vaznetti! I'm sure we totally defeated Count Dracula!
