Curiouser and curiouser...

For some reason, lately, various random people, friends, acquaintances, and so on, all seem to be very concerned about the length of my hair. I've had at least 6+ people in the last few weeks inquire a) if perhaps I might be planning to cut my hair soon and b) no? well I ought to think about it.

What gives? I mean, yes, it's long... and perhaps it's approaching Lady Godiva/Rapunzel length. But so what? I wear it up 90% of the time, anyway, so who cares? It's not like I can sit on it (yet). And even if I could, why does it matter? No, I just don't get this communal fascination with my luxurious tresses. ;)

Also, while on my pants-purchasing journey yesterday, I encountered a swarm of bees. No. Seriously. A swarm of bees. I ran from them like a little girl, squealing and flailing my arms.

I think this bodes well for the rest of the week.

My hair is pretty long now too, but it's so thin that when I wear it up it squished into a teeny tiny little ball. You have beautiful hair. Let it flow! If you feel like you need a bit of a change, have you considered dreads?

If you can't sit on it, it's nowhere near approaching Rapunzel/Lady Godiva length! Keep growing it for a day when some bastard may make you ride naked around L.A. on a horse!

Also, somewhat randomly, purple actually goes rather well together with brown, especially dark chocolate brown. You should buy more purple clothes and mix and match them with items from your brown fashion period. :)

I'll have to mix & match. Unfortunately, I have more pants than any human being ought to. I can't match brown pants with purple pants... Thanks for the idea, though. :)

I'll post a pic of my hair sometime, so people can all admire it. :)
